Sales Administrator

My client is an industry leader, a provider of specialist finance training. The company is now adding to its team as part of its next phase of growth and due to its on-going success, the position of Sales Admin Administrator has become available.

This is a position that requires the candidate to have an extremely high degree of personal organisation and attention to detail. It also requires intelligence, diligence, accuracy, the ability to think for yourself and to show initiative as well as the ability to thrive under pressure whilst maintaining control, being professional and adopting, at all times, a positive can-do attitude.

The successful candidate must have an excellent command of the English language, a high degree of self-motivation and be both flexible and very hard working.

The successful candidate will be working in a very busy office environment with a hard-working, motivated and friendly team of eight each focused on meeting deadlines and demands.

The successful candidate will work for a great company which encourages ideas and where everyone feels part of a successful team. The successful candidate will be actively encouraged to make the role their own by being enterprising, hardworking and client centred.

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing and will also work with other team members.

Hours: 08.45 – 17.30 

The successful Administrator assistant and Sales Support persons Role and Duties

This person will have a minimum of 3 years of admin experience, educated to degree standard

The role will include:

Updating client facing and marketing materials

Maintaining the accuracy of the company’s website

Preparing and updating course outlines Preparing and updating course calendars Preparing and updating e-shots

Preparing and updating brochures Course calendar

Assessment forms


Taking charge of the template creation for our weekly e-shot campaigns

o  Review schedule to determine which templates are needed

o  Template creation / checking

Setting up the weekly e-shot campaigns

  • Ensuring that that campaigns are set up accurately
  • Ensuring domain health and blacklisting issues on over 30 domains and

5 IP’s per day

  • Ensuring that hyperlinks work
  • Ensuring that the correct campaigns are sent to the correct recipients at the correct time

Dealing with campaign results

  • Dealing with hard bounces
  • Dealing client enquires
  • Accurately setting up each day’s e-marketing campaigns in a third party platform

o  Setting up between up to 20 campaigns per day

  • Ensuring that the right course bulletins are applied to the right CRM segments
  • Setting up merge-tagging


  • Updating records in CRM
  • Adding in client participant lists o Updating course information

o  Updating trainer information

Post course Assessments

  • Ensuring that all course assessment forms filed accurately and updated on our website
  • Ensuring FEEFO is updated

Liaising with trainers

Making sure course outlines are up to date Making sure trainer CVs are up to date

Assisting on the day of a training course

Meeting and greeting participants

Ensuring that training rooms are set-up correctly Problem solving

Other tasks and duties

Assisting with the marketing of the companies training courses and conferences Ad Hoc Assisting with arranging public & in-house courses

  • Preparing course materials packs & liaising with suppliers Inputting bought in data in to our CRM

Answering the telephone;

  • Dealing with clients
  • Dealing with suppliers o Dealing with trainers

Assisting the sales and marketing team

Plus any other duties to assist the company

  • We pride ourselves on quickly answering client enquiries immediately
  • We quickly retrieve information from our CRM to support our calls to clients, and also incoming client enquiries

This is a fast-paced environment so you will need to be a very quick learner

  • You will be expected to take detailed notes to aid you after the induction training
  • You will be expected to ask lots of relevant questions during the induction training
